European day of languages 2016-17

St. Oliver's celebrated European Day of Languages with Churros and Chocolate. On this day in September every year,  the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe is celebrated and almost 700 students in the school enjoyed the typical Spanish dish prepared by Maria's Spanish Restaurant, Drogheda. Churros are made from a batter and fried in oil and then served with thick hot chocolate. From early morning the irresistible smell of hot chocolate wafted around the building. Spanish music accompanied the occasion which was enjoyed by staff and students.
