St. Oliver’s Community School ‘Green Day’ Fundraiser

On the 16th March, LCA class 5B from St. Oliver’s Community School, held their first ever ‘Green Day’ event, taking in a sum of €1710.00. The event was set up as part of their mini-company assignment. The students rolled up their sleeves and whole heartedly threw themselves into the many roles of a not-for-profit organisation. “We wanted to help our school raise funds for a worthy cause”
During the lead up to ‘Green Day’, students impressively adapted a can-do attitude by creating posters, selling badges, raffle tickets, bake sales and bravely making announcements over the intercom addressing both teachers and students on the importance of their campaign. 5B would like to thank all those involved. From the sponsorship collectors, raffle ticket sellers, bakers, to students who helped out on the day.
Thank you all for supporting our fund raising event.
