TY Fair day 2015-16

On Friday 11th December, the Transititon Year Enterprise module came to a close for classes Crescent and Valley with the annual Christmas Fair taking place in the school gym. This year funds were being raised for Make-A-Wish Ireland.

Since September, the two classes have been working in their mini companies carrying out market research, producing marketing plans, organising the finance, promoting their products and preparing for the fair. On the day, this led to a variety of stalls selling stationery sets, school wristbands, chocolate, jellies, milkshakes and popcorn while there were also activities such as sumo wrestling and a bouncy castle available. 1st and 2nd years students along with their teachers were brought down to the fair during the day where the sumo wrestling was by far most popular, especially when the teachers were in the ring! Overall, a great day was had by all and most importantly over €300 will be making its way to Make-A-Wish.

Well done to TY Crescent and Valley on an excellent term's work.
