Team Hope - Christmas Shoebox appeal 2019

A regular sized Shoebox can be filled with gifts for a boy or a girl from the ages of 2-14.

The following items are suggestions for the gifts you can enclose. Second hand items may be used where appropriate. Follow the 4 W's
Wear- small items of clothing (gloves, hat, socks, etc)
Wash- hygiene products (toothbrush/paste, cloths, bars of soap, etc)
Write - school supplies (pens, colouring pencils, notebooks, copies, etc)
Wow - something nice (toys, sweets (no chocolate)

These boxes are then shipped to children in countries in Africa and Eastern Europe. For some of these children, it will be the first ever gift that they have received in their lifetime. It's a wonderful opportunity for you to give back and feel great doing so as we approach the festive season.

Every box must also contain €4 for postage. I am aware that people may not have €4 readily available so why not split the cost between you and a friend and create a box together for only €2 each.

As not everyone will have a Shoebox available we have launched a drive for empty shoeboxes to gather enough for others who may not have one to fill. These will be wrapped and then handed out to those who wish to use them. If you have any spare boxes please drop them to N12 any morning.

We really hope you can find the time and resources to complete a box. The deadline this year is November 8th which is why you should start working on it now!
