ST OLIVERS V DE LA SALLE 12-11-08: The lads first competitive outing ended in a defeat to de la salle. Best for the ollies on the day were morgan sloggett and Shane Whelan.

ST OLIVERS V ARDEE 18-11-08: A big improvement was needed from our boys in the second round home match and our lads didnt fail to deliver. Despite out scoring our opponents by 12 scores to six and dominating the match, the concession of four first half goals meant we had to work hard for a point. There was some outstanding performances from the home team with the most notable being, gregory sloggett, david connolly, aaron kirwan and eric o brien.

COLAISTE RIS V ST OLIVERS 2-12-08: A win against the cbs in dundalk would have been enough to see st olivers through to the quarter final of this competition, however despite being just a point down at half-time, ollies were over run in the second half. Best for st olivers on the day were declan campbell, morgan sloggett and aaron kirwan.

St. Olivers Community College, Drogheda 1-7(0-7)

Ardee Community School finished strongest to take the Louth Colleges Under 14 Morgan Cup in dramatic fashion in Tullyallen on Wednesday last. With two minutes to go the Ardee lads were two points in arrears before a brace of goals in as many minutes clinched the title.
In an entertaining encounter, St. Olivers took full advantage of the wind on their backs to build up a 0-7 to 1-0 goal lead at the break, Ardee’s goal coming courtesy of Patrick Conlon.
On the turnaround, Ardee continued to push hard but the Drogheda lads defended well and it was only in the closing minutes that they relinquished the lead. Ronan Mooney netted to give Ardee the lead and on the resulting kickout, Conor Reilly gathered to feed Andy Leavy who also found the net to secure the victory.
