NORTH EAST LEAGUE

ST OLIVERS 1-1 RATHOATH

St Oliver's U-17 soccer team played hosts to Meath neighbours Rathoath in a highly competitive game in St Oliver's on Thursday. Despite being one down at the break St Oliver's took control in the second half and levelled through a Hayden Fitzpatrick spot kick. Despite creating a number of goal scoring chances the teams finished level with a goal a piece. Midfielder Pedro White was the outstanding performer for St Oliver's on the day.

Alen Vilums puts in a challenge against his opposite number. Pedro White, determined as ever in the tackle, battled hard in the engine room for St Olivers. Alen Wilums breaks free from his direct opponent to get St Olivers started on another attack.
     
Hayden Fitzpatrick is brought down in the box, before getting up to bring St Olivers level with the resulting spot kick. Pedro white was the outstanding performer for St Olivers, covering every blade of grass in a commanding midfield display. Sevastian Beslic had a solid game at right back for St Olivers, whilst also offering an attacking threat in the opponents half.
